Project Manager (AI)

We are working with our client, a leading organisation in the legal sector, to appoint an AI Project Manager on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to shape how AI is embedded across our client’s team and wider business, helping them modernise processes, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation in a regulated, professional environment.

What you’ll do

• Lead AI-related projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring outcomes align with our client’s strategic objectives.
• Coordinate stakeholders across our client’s team, including legal, operations, and IT, to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Define project scopes, timelines, and milestones, and track progress against agreed targets.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, accuracy, or client experience within a legal context.
• Prepare clear, structured updates and reports to senior stakeholders on project status and impact.

What you’ll need

• Experience managing projects involving technology or data initiatives, ideally including AI-focused work.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a professional services environment.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.
• A structured, methodical approach to planning, risk management, and project governance.
• An interest in how AI can be responsibly applied in the legal sector, with an eye on compliance and ethics.
