Overview

As Clinical Services Manager in Imaging, you will lead and optimise the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services within the hospital, aligning with Circle Health Group’s mission to provide patient-focused care. You will shape service development, collaborate with Radiologists and cross-functional teams, and drive performance and safety across modalities. This role combines clinical leadership with strategic oversight to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage service delivery with efficient deployment of resources
  • Drive strategic, operational, and business development activities for the hospital
  • Ensure high-quality, responsive diagnostic imaging services for customers and the business
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Radiologists; maximise sessional use and expand clinical expertise
  • Recruit Radiologists in collaboration with SMT to broaden department capabilities
  • Hold annual meetings with Radiologists to discuss development and issues
  • Oversee day-to-day operational supervision of Diagnostic Imaging services
  • Perform radiographic examinations autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure Radiation Protection Supervisors are appointed, trained, and adequately resourced
  • Maintain safe work environments and compliance with local rules and mandatory training

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiographer post or equivalent
  • Experience in a Clinical Lead role
  • Customer care experience with challenging patients/customers
  • HCPC registration
  • Management/supervisory experience in a multi-modality imaging department
  • Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Ability to analyse hospital data to identify business development opportunities and influence practice
  • Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and systems/processes
  • Strategic awareness with understanding of commercial healthcare delivery
