Senior Tender Manager at Schneider Electric’s Solution Centre UK&I leads the tendering and quotation management function to drive profitable growth. You will shape winning bid strategies, guide a high-performing team, and ensure competitive, innovative customer solutions. You’ll improve tender processes and governance while delivering value to customers and the business.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute tendering strategies to fuel profitable growth and market expansion.
  • Partner with sales, operations, engineering and business unit leaders to secure high-value opportunities.
  • Improve tendering processes, tools, and methodologies for competitiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead end-to-end management of complex Capex and Opex bids from RFQ analysis to contract award.
  • Translate customer requirements into compelling technical and commercial solutions.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, pricing strategies and commercial proposals for profitability.
  • Maintain governance, compliance, and manage commercial risks across bids.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing tendering team; foster accountability and collaboration.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate commercial, contractual and operational risks throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams; provide executive decision support.
