Mechanical Project Manager – M&E

Overview

In this role you will deliver mechanical projects from pre-construction to handover, coordinating programme, procurement, labour, and client communication. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets while reporting progress. Your focus will be on mechanical building services, with exposure to design and commissioning phases. Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from mobilisation through to handover
• Plan labour, procurement and subcontractor requirements
• Monitor programme, progress, cost and quality
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submissions
• Lead project, coordination and client meetings
• Manage technical queries, variations and design changes
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover
• Maintain accurate project reporting and documentation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards

Key requirements

• Previous mechanical project management experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical building services
• Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and project documentation
• Commercial awareness and experience managing change
• Strong client-facing and leadership skills
• Ability to deliver multiple priorities to deadline
