Project Manager // Insurance Due Diligence

Overview

In this role you will lead insurance due diligence for private equity and related deal activity, assessing target insurance programmes and risk to inform valuations and structures. You will work across live transactions, advising deal teams and liaising with insurers to secure best-value cover. You’ll produce concise reports for clients and internal stakeholders while managing multiple deals under tight timelines. This is a high-impact, deal-driven position that blends technical insurance expertise with clear commercial communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess target company insurance programmes including adequacy, structure and cost
• Review historical claims and identify coverage gaps or risk exposures impacting valuation or deal terms
• Produce clear insurance due diligence reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders
• Engage with insurers/market partners to obtain terms and support negotiations
• Manage multiple concurrent transactions and maintain records and deadlines

Key requirements

• Experience in insurance broking, underwriting, claims or advisory
• Exposure to private equity transactions or complex commercial clients (preferred)
• Strong technical insurance knowledge
• Excellent analytical skills
