Overview

As a Senior Project Manager at Stantec, you lead complex, fast-paced mission-critical design projects, focusing on resilient data center facilities. Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize multidisciplinary project teams for design, production, and documentation
  • Lead design of robust mission-critical and data center facilities for reliability and continuity
  • Ensure projects follow Page and Owner protocols and procedures
  • Resolve design and construction challenges quickly
  • Serve as primary client liaison and maintain strong relationships
  • Coordinate with consultants, internal teams, contractors, and clients throughout lifecycle
  • Mentor team members for professional growth and project success
  • Contribute to fee development, proposals, and scope definition
  • Monitor budgets, codes, and approval processes
  • Oversee project documentation and administrative tasks
  • Champion quality control across all phases
  • Represent the firm in meetings and public settings
  • Occasional travel for site visits and coordination

Key requirements

  • Experience with mission-critical and data-center facilities (projects >= $30M)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-project management
  • Proficiency in financial tracking and project administration
  • Proven experience coordinating with contractors, design teams, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Revit
  • Successful track record leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and networking abilities
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
