Overview
In this role you will manage the commercial delivery for a £20m industrial and commercial new-build project in Dagenham, Essex, supported by a on-site commercial team. You will work within a growing main contractor, contributing to project outcomes across industrial, commercial and infrastructure works. The role offers hands-on cost control, procurement and change management on site, with a focus on timely, accurate reporting. This is an opportunity to shape project commercial success within a dynamic, growing company.
Responsibilities
- Oversee on-site commercial activities for a £20m project
- Support cost control, procurement, and subcontractor payments
- Manage change events and forecasting with the commercial team
- Provide regular commercial reporting and risk/opportunity assessment
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure contractual compliance and budget adherence
Key requirements
- Degree qualified or other relative construction qualification
- Extensive experience with a reputable main contractor
- Track record on industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects
- Excellent commercial skills and awareness
- Full UK drivers’ license
