Overview
In this role you lead large-scale digital health adoption and transformation programs to turn digital investments into measurable clinical, operational and financial value. You partner with executive stakeholders to define future digital capabilities and oversee delivery across frontline healthcare settings. You shape transformation approaches, governance, and capabilities, including EPR deployments, and mentor the Digital Health team to grow the practice. You apply cutting‑edge tech and evidence-based methods to improve health outcomes at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver multi‑workstream digital adoption and change programmes in frontline health settings
- Develop national-to-provider level digital health strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans
- Design and guide transformation frameworks, Centre of Excellence models and reusable delivery assets
- Lead EPR-enabled transformation and broader health tech deployments, including readiness and benefits tracking
- Coordinate with large technology vendors and partners to shape delivery plans and manage risks
- Translate learning into strategic recommendations, thought leadership, and reusable models
- Define operating models, governance and service delivery for digitally enabled health organisations
- Advise executives on digital investment priorities, value realisation, and transformation risk
- Direct multidisciplinary teams across digital adoption, technology delivery, data, cyber and programme management
- Develop productivity, performance measurement and benefits realisation frameworks
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, ambient tech, virtual care and analytics to improve outcomes
- Contribute to market-facing propositions, thought leadership and business development
- Coach and develop Analysts, Assistant Managers and Managers in consulting and leadership skills
Key requirements
- Significant experience leading complex digital adoption and delivery programmes in healthcare
- Deep understanding of NHS landscape and national digital health policy implications
- Experience designing transformation strategies and delivery frameworks for large-scale healthcare change
- Strong track record in EPR-enabled transformation and health technology deployment
- Experience with vendors, system integrators or implementation partners and managing dependencies
- Experience engaging frontline clinical and operational teams to support adoption
- Ability to translate learning into reusable delivery models and improvement frameworks
- Experience developing productivity, performance measurement and benefits realisation approaches
- Understanding of healthcare tech ecosystems including EPR, AI-enabled tools and analytics
- Proven ability to engage executive and board-level stakeholders
- Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, PPT and data/modelling capabilities
- Experience using GenAI/agentic AI tools to improve delivery and outcomes
