This role involves managing a variety of commercial legal issues, including intellectual property, IT, advertising, financial services, and consumer rights, within a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- 2–4 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Proven expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- Experience in financial services or retail is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (marketing, supply, IT, and consumer-facing terms).
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders across Marketing, IT, and Product departments.
- Manage small claims, escalated consumer/supplier disputes, and litigation strategy.
- Support GDPR compliance and AI project implementation.
- Monitor and advise on legislative/regulatory changes impacting the business.
