Why You’ll Love Working With Us

Established, growing and employee-owned. AEC has been helping organisations create safer environments since 1997. Today, we’re a leading compliance consultancy and training organisation specialising in asbestos, Legionella, fire and occupational hygiene, with offices in Manchester and Essex and clients across the UK and overseas.

You’ll be part of something you have a stake in. Since becoming an Employee Ownership Trust in 2024, our people share in AEC’s success. Honesty, integrity, independence and putting people first aren’t just words to us — they shape how we work every day.

Good work starts with good people. We’re proud of our technical expertise, but our success is built on much more than technical skills alone. From our specialists out in the field to the people who keep everything running behind the scenes, every role brings something important. It’s the combination of those skills that makes the business work.

  • Grow with us: Build your skills, develop your career and pursue professional qualifications.
  • A benefits package that matters: 23 days’ leave (increasing to 28) plus bank holidays, private healthcare, pension scheme, sick pay, loyalty bonus and more.

  • A culture with people at its heart: Join a collaborative, safety-first workplace where quality, care and doing the right thing matter.
  • A genuinely inclusive workplace: We welcome people from all walks of life and value the different perspectives, experiences and ideas they bring.
