Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners and private clients
  • Prepare, review and submit personal tax returns
  • Be the main point of contact for clients on day-to-day tax matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support delivery of tax planning and advisory work when opportunities arise
  • Liaise with Accounts Director and wider tax team to provide integrated client service
  • Ensure compliance deadlines are met and maintain high levels of client service

Key requirements

  • ATT qualified with strong examination results
  • CTA qualified or currently studying towards CTA (preferred)
  • Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients within an accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax compliance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and client-focused approach
