Overview
In this role you join Deloitte’s M&A Transactions team in Aberdeen to support high-profile corporate and private equity deals. You’ll conduct targeted due diligence, analyze financial information, and contribute to cross-functional deal teams with insight on value drivers and risks. You help clients make informed decisions and shape deal outcomes in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Responsibilities
- Develop quick understanding of the target business and its drivers
- Interpret and analyse information memoranda, business plans, and public data on targets
- Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheet information
- Assess projections and underlying assumptions for reasonableness
- Evaluate working capital facilities, financing limits, terms and covenants
- Identify potential synergies and key issues impacting the deal
- Review sales and purchase agreement and document due diligence findings
- Assess financial structures and related credit agreements
- Collaborate effectively within diverse, inclusive teams
Key requirements
- ACA qualification or equivalent/experience
- Strong report writing and reviewing skills with attention to detail and risk management
- Excellent academic background or equivalent experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
