TheRole
AsGroupFinancialController,you’lltakeresponsibilityforthedaytodayandstrategicfinancialmanagementofthegroup,ensuringrobustfinancialcontrolwhileprovidingthecommercialinsightrequiredtosupportdecisionmaking.
You’llhaveabroadremitacrossfinance,including:
- Takingownershipofthegroup’sfullfinancefunction(youneedtobecomfortablebeinghandson)
- Producingaccurateandinsightfulmonthlymanagementaccounts
- Leadingthemonthendandyearendprocesses
- Preparingmonthlygrouplevelfinancialandcommercialreporting
- Providingseniormanagementwithclearanalysis,commentaryandrecommendations
- Developingbudgets,forecastsandcashflowreporting
- Monitoringperformanceagainstbudgetsandforecasts
- Supportingcommercialdecisionmakingthroughmeaningfulfinancialanalysis
- Reviewingmargins,profitabilityandkeybusinessdrivers
- Improvingfinancialprocesses,controlsandsystems
- Workingcloselywithoperationalandcommercialteamstounderstandbusinessperformance
