Your new company n An exciting opportunity has arisen within an AIM-listed natural resources business focused on Africa's frontier. With operations spanning both within Oil & Gas and now Renewable Energy, the business is focusing on playing a key role in delivering sustainable solutions across the continent. n Your new role n Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial reporting across a complex group. You will be working alongside senior leadership, you will gain exposure to multiple jurisdictions, listed company reporting requirements and technical accounting.
Some key responsibilities

- Prepared consolidated financial statements
- Manage statutory reporting and compliance requirements across UK and African entities
- Oversee the payroll, VAT returns, payments across multiple jurisdictions
- Operate and maintain reporting processes using the SUN system
- Review monthly ledger activity and accounting postings across the Group

n What you'll need to succeed n The ideal profile would be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with strong financial reporting experience within a Natural Resource business. It would also be ideal if you have experience using the system, SUN. n What you'll get in return
