n I am currently working with a well-established construction and infrastructure business with a strong presence across the UK and a reputation for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a newly qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to develop their career within a commercial, project-focused environment.

n Your new role n As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
n

- Producing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
- Supporting month-end reporting, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
- Working closely with operational teams to support project performance reporting.
- Analysing project costs, revenues and profitability across multiple contracts.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities.
- Using COINS extensively for financial reporting and project accounting.
- Assisting with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.
- Providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

n What you'll need to succeed n You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with previous management accounting experience in the construction, engineering or project-based sectors. Strong experience with the system COINS is essential.
