- Raise and manage work orders using the EAM system.
- Coordinate activities relating to in-service failures and provide rapid technical support to operational teams.
- Support planning activities and ensure accurate technical records are maintained.
- Present clear and practical electrical/mechanical engineering solutions to the customer.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with a strong rail and rolling stock engineering background, who is confident analysing technical problems and communicating solutions in a time-critical environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering – desirable.
- Strong EMU technical knowledge.
- Previous rail experience, either in rolling stock maintenance or train riding.
- Experience investigating and resolving technical faults.
- Knowledge of ORBITA or similar rail monitoring systems.
- Experience using computer-based asset management systems/EAM.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
