Seeking a high-calibre Strategy Associate to join a lean, high-impact strategy team, reporting into the Head of Strategy and working closely with the CFO and CEO. The role offers broad exposure across corporate strategy, M&A, capital raising, investor relations and strategic business initiatives.

This will be a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of complex and varied business change projects.
  • Supporting PMO activities including planning, governance, reporting, prioritisation, resource management, financial tracking, and project documentation.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to successfully deliver change.
  • Working closely with clients, external partners, third-party providers, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Identifying project risks, issues, and opportunities, implementing interventions where required.
  • Driving consistency in project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks.
  • Championing best practice project management methodologies and continuous improvement through technology and innovation.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of a growing portfolio of strategic initiatives.

Experience:

  • 3+ years proven experience managing complex projects or portfolios.
  • Strong PMO knowledge, including governance, planning, reporting, and resource management.
  • Experience identifying and recovering projects facing delivery challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • The confidence to work in environments where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using project management tools, with JIRA experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Agile and other project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience within financial services, pensions, insurance, or risk management is advantageous but not essential.
