Overview

In this Regulatory Engagement and Compliance role, you support the Office of Regulatory Relations (ORR) and Regional Country Compliance (RCC), overseeing regulator relationships across the EMEA region and coordinating compliance deliverables. You interpret information requests, assemble data, and liaise with the FCA and PRA for meetings and audits. You contribute to governance of Senior Manager Arrangements and drive regulatory change initiatives. The role blends cross‑functional collaboration with rigorous risk management to uphold regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and clarify regulatory information requests
• Identify data sources and compile data for responses
• Coordinate regulator meetings, audits and reviews with FCA/PRA
• Prepare responses to information requests with business and Compliance input
• Support governance and Senior Manager Arrangements framework
• Provide analytical and documentary support to compliance project managers
• Participate in working groups for regulatory change solutions
• Produce Compliance Management reporting and materials
• Oversee compilation and reporting of the annual EMEA Compliance business plan
• Lead and participate in conduct initiatives for the EMEA Compliance division
• Facilitate regulatory licensing applications and fee payments
• Coordinate submission of Compliance-owned non-financial regulatory reports
• Attend related onsite meetings with regulators

Key requirements

• Experience in UK Regulatory engagement role or similar function
• Familiarity with UK and/or EU financial services regulatory framework
• Experience in Compliance or a risk-based function
• Experience delivering strategic projects or change management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
