Quantity Surveyor – Highway

Overview

Join a growing regional civil engineering contractor as a Quantity Surveyor within the commercial team. You will oversee subcontractor procurement and supply chain management, manage projects from award to final accounts, and report on cost/value reconciliations. You’ll mentor Graduates and Assistant Quantity Surveyors, contributing to a diverse project portfolio across Kent and Surrey. Responsibilities

• Procure and manage subcontractors and supply chain
• Manage projects from award through final accounts
• Report monthly cost/value reconciliations
• Assist with contract changes and manage variations
• Mentor Grad/AQS employees and support their development

Key requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Civil engineering and infrastructure experience
• Experience with main contracting or sub contracting
• NEC contract experience
• Subcontract procurement and management experience
• Financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience
