In this role you shape and deliver strategic software-enabled solutions for clients, guiding cross-functional teams to turn complex challenges into impactful outcomes. You’ll engage FTSE 100 clients, lead business development, and mentor colleagues, while aligning with PA’s values and inclusive culture. Responsibilities

• Lead development of new service propositions and drive strategic business growth
• Own and deliver high-impact, end-to-end software solutions for complex client challenges
• Collaborate with FTSE 100 clients as a trusted advisor, guiding them through challenges with clarity
• Support team growth through coaching and knowledge-sharing
• Contribute to thought leadership and development of market-relevant offerings
• Engage in business development activities including pre-sales, proposals, and client engagement
• Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders to support long-term partnerships
• Shape software engineering strategies across multiple domains (application, business, integration)

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading software development teams delivering end-to-end solutions
• Strong understanding of any industry vertical
• Ability to shape and communicate software engineering strategies across domains
• Skilled at building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and translating tech insight into business value
• Track record in business development, including pre-sales, proposals, and client engagement
• Familiarity with engineering frameworks and modelling tools; awareness of trends and technologies
• Established network of senior stakeholders within the specialist sector and ability to grow relationships for business development
