In this role you support high‑profile global pharma and health tech clients, shaping strategic communications and leading projects across earned media, storytelling, and digital initiatives. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality programmes and senior client counsel. The position offers exposure to oncology, neuroscience, and diabetes efforts within a diverse agency network. You’ll work to elevate client visibility and drive impactful health communications. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic counsel to clients and develop innovative communications strategies
- Lead and coordinate earned media strategy, journalist engagement, and story development
- Identify credible media opportunities from complex scientific and corporate materials
- Support growth opportunities and contribute to new business pitches
- Oversee budget development, billing, and communications
- Ensure regulatory compliance across deliverables (EFPIA, ABPI, FDA, etc.)
- Mentor junior team members and foster an inclusive team culture
- Represent the agency in client meetings and external thought leadership activities
Key requirements
- Experience supporting health/pharma clients, preferably in an agency
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech industry and audiences
- Earned media expertise and ability to advise on effective approaches for news moments
- Ability to create high‑quality content across press releases, social posts, internal comms, and presentations
- Experience or interest in digital innovation, including social media, influencers, and HCP platforms
- Ability to think innovatively about AI in communications
- Excellent attention to detail and project management
- Right to work in the UK; in‑person presence in Bankside office at least 3 days/week
