With over 90 years behind us and a motto we still stand by — “Where Service Still Counts” — we’re known for first-class support and practical solutions that keep our customers moving.As a Groundscare Service Technician you’ll work on modern, high-specification machinery across our depots and out in the field, playing a direct part in the service our customers rely on.What you’ll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing groundscare equipment
- Servicing John Deere machinery and other brands
- Developing your skills through ongoing training on new products and services
- Carrying out quality assurance in the workshop and in field settings
- Mentoring apprentices and trainees
- Preparing new and used equipment for delivery
What you’ll bring
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivation, strong communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges
- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing machinery using special tools and approved technical procedures
- Flexibility to adjust working hours during peak seasons and weekends
- A valid UK driving licence
- Experience in a franchised dealer environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
