In this role you will broker North American Property risks within Lloyd’s and the London Market, managing new and renewed business and supporting binder/delegated authority activity. You will work closely with producers, clients and markets to secure favourable terms, while developing specialist expertise in binder concepts. Responsibilities

  • Broking and placing North American Property risks into Lloyd’s and the London Market
  • Managing a portfolio of North American Property business (new business & renewals)
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with producing brokers, clients and underwriting markets
  • Collaborating with underwriters to negotiate terms, coverage and pricing
  • Supporting and developing the binder/delegated authority portfolio
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business
  • Reviewing submissions and risk information to determine placement strategies
  • Managing the broking process from enquiry to completion
  • Ensuring high-quality service to clients and producing brokers
  • Collaborating with colleagues across broking, technical and operational functions

Key requirements

  • Experience within North American Property broking
  • Good understanding of North American Property market and London Market placement
  • Strong broker, client and market relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities
  • Commercial and proactive approach to business development
  • Binder/delegated authority experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Genuine interest in developing within binder and delegated authority space
