Overview
As SEO Manager you will own and optimise multiple client accounts, delivering strategies that improve organic visibility, traffic, and commercial performance. You’ll lead technical and strategic SEO across a varied client portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional digital teams. You’ll tackle audits, migrations, keyword research, and performance reporting in a fast-paced agency setting. This role offers ownership, growth opportunities, and exposure to diverse industries in a hybrid Greater Manchester environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead SEO strategy and delivery across a client portfolio
- Conduct technical SEO audits and implement actionable recommendations
- Perform keyword research, competitor and gap analyses
- Identify growth opportunities and prioritise SEO initiatives
- Manage website migrations and technical SEO projects
- Monitor performance and deliver client-facing reporting and insights
- Collaborate with PPC, Paid Social and wider digital teams
- Own client communications and performance outcomes
- Contribute to ongoing optimisation of SEO processes and delivery
Key requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience
- Strong technical SEO background
- Experience with both eCommerce and lead generation campaigns
- Proven ability to conduct audits, migrations and technical implementation
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
- Experience using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management
- Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment
- Ability to prioritise work based on commercial impact
- Understanding of SEO integration with PPC and wider marketing channels
