Supply Planner

Overview

In this role you will manage inventory planning and replenishment for a portfolio of Ferrero UK & Ireland products, ensuring availability, freshness, and optimal stock levels. You will collaborate across Demand Planning, Sales, Central Planning, manufacturing sites, and logistics partners to align plans with changing business needs. The role includes managing supply risks, supporting launches and promotions, and driving continuous improvement to service and efficiency. This is an opportunity to influence end-to-end supply chain performance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory planning and replenishment for a product portfolio
• Create and manage supply plans within planning constraints
• Collaborate with central planning, manufacturing sites, and logistics partners to position inventory effectively
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and potential surpluses
• Support product launches, promotions, range changes, and factory shutdowns
• Coordinate planning with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues early
• Monitor and report supply chain performance using service, inventory and supply metrics
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and refine planning processes and tools
• Balance inventory across sales channels and communicate data-led recommendations

Key requirements

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience in fast-paced supply chain environments
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP or similar tools
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable plans
• Confident communicator with stakeholder influence across functions
• Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Food Production or Retail Supply Chains (advantageous)
• Currently in roles such as Supply Planner, Inventory Planner, Replenishment Planner, Production Planner, Materials Planner or Supply Chain Planner (preferred)
