Finance Manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role you will own the end-to-end monthly management accounts process, driving reporting, insight and process improvements as the business scales. You will provide commercial support for customer contracts, manage debtor days, and support external reporting including the annual audit. The role includes building dashboards and MI to illuminate drivers of performance and partnering with senior leaders. It offers the chance to shape financial planning in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end monthly management accounts delivery with process improvements
• Manage monthly payment run process
• Provide commercial support for customer contracts and reduce debtor days
• Support supplier negotiations across the business
• Assist external reporting including annual audit
• Support Head of Strategic FP&A with annual strategic planning
• Develop dashboards, reports and management information to understand performance

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, analysis and reporting experience
• Ability to partner with senior business leaders
• Excellent attention to detail and timely delivery
• Strong negotiation, listening and presentation skills
• Experience in start-up or global company environments is desirable
• AR (accounts receivable) focus and potential of related technology
