Ready to be part of a busy retail and café team? Join Sodexo as a Retail & Café Assistant and help create a welcoming experience for every customer, from serving great food and drinks to keeping the café and retail area running smoothly.
You’ll be hands-on, friendly and customer-focused, supporting your team to deliver excellent service while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service
- Operate tills accurately and handle customer transactions with confidence
- Receive deliveries, replenish stock and ensure products are correctly rotated
- Support promotions and loyalty initiatives to help drive customer engagement
- Keep the retail and café areas clean, tidy and inviting
- Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible retailing standards, including checking ID where required
What you bring:
- You must be 18 or over to sell age-restricted products
- Retail experience is a bonus, but not essential – full training will be provided
- Commercial awareness and a focus on supporting store performance
- A willingness to learn about our products and confidently share your knowledge with customers
- Confidence using digital systems, tills and store applications
- A customer-first approach, with the ability to recognise opportunities and respond to customer needs
- A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
