As Senior Credit Controller, you will manage the end-to-end credit control process for a diverse insurance client portfolio, assessing credit risk, setting limits, and monitoring aged debt. You will collaborate with underwriting, finance, and compliance to ensure robust credit governance and act as a senior escalation point while mentoring junior colleagues. You will drive process improvements and provide insights that support the company’s financial performance. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end credit control across a diverse insurance client and broker portfolio
- Conduct credit assessments and set/monitor credit limits
- Own aged debt management and monitoring
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and compliance to ensure governance
- Serve as a senior escalation point within the team

Key requirements
- Strong credit control experience within insurance, financial services, or regulated environments
- Proven ability to assess credit risk and make commercially sound decisions
- Confidence managing stakeholder relationships across underwriting, finance, and external partners
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members in a hands-on, collaborative way
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and credit control best practice within a regulated framework
