Overview
In this role you will manage costs for power sector projects, guiding cost control, forecasting and governance to support delivery across Distribution, Transmission and Renewables. You will collaborate with client and contractor teams to keep projects within budget and drive value engineering. Responsibilities
- Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
- Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
- Proactively monitor cost variance and cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams on programme, cost control and KPIs
- Manage contract changes within governance and best practices
- Improve forecast and budget accuracy
Key requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant subject (ideally)
- Professional body membership or progress toward one (ideally)
- Contract management experience, NEC3/Option C or NEC4 preferred
