Senior Health, Safety & Fire Consultant

Overview

In this role you will deliver health, safety and fire risk management services within a multidisciplinary consultancy. You’ll work with diverse clients across sectors, supporting regulatory and corporate compliance, risk assessment, training, and advisory work. You will help win new work and promote Health, Safety and Fire services, all within a collaborative, flexible culture that values development. The position offers travel within the UK and occasional overseas, with a focus on practical, business-minded risk solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health, safety and fire risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environment
• Execute project work including auditing, report authoring, risk assessment, training delivery, ad-hoc advice, and tailored client solutions
• Collaborate with clients across broad sectors
• Support bids and development of proposals for new client work
• Assist in promotion of Health, Safety and Fire Services

Key requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
• NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or Level 3 (essential)
• Associate Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (essential)
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or working towards (desirable)
• Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment Qualification (desirable)
• TechIOSH or CertIOSH membership
• Member Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (desirable)
• Full clean driving licence
• At least three years demonstrable fire risk assessment experience
• At least two years demonstrable health and safety experience
• Understanding of UK Health, Safety and Fire legislation and maintaining compliance
• Confident in a client/stakeholder facing environment
