Overview

In this role you lead complex global air- logistics implementation projects within a defined vertical, driving on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery. You will collaborate with Sales and Air Logistics leadership to shape vertical strategy and best practices. You guide cross-functional teams, manage risk, and mentor junior managers, delivering measurable value for customers and the business. This role offers global exposure and a chance to influence how we scale aviation logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Project planning and initiation: define scope/objectives with stakeholders and create detailed plans
  • Project execution and control: lead teams, monitor progress, address deviations and resolve issues
  • Resource management: allocate resources with functional managers
  • Stakeholder management: maintain transparent communication and highlight opportunities
  • Quality assurance: ensure outputs meet standards (ISO 21205) and drive improvements
  • Competence & strategy: collaborate with sales and BU Air Logistics to advance vertical initiatives
  • Risk & change management: identify risks and manage scope changes for successful integration
  • Mentoring/supervision: coach and share best practices with junior managers

Key requirements

  • Min. 5 years as Project Manager and/or Program Manager delivering complex global projects
  • Strong understanding of Air Logistics operations
  • Proven leadership and ability to guide cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software
  • PMI/PMBOK or Prince2 certification is a plus
