Control Room Firefighter: Fast-Paced Calls & Community Impact

Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a Firefighter (Control) to join the Fire Control team based at the Headquarters in Cramlington. The role carries a 42-hour week with a rotating shift pattern, including nights, weekends and public holidays, and is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2028.

The successful candidate will answer, record and action emergency calls, mobilise resources, and support the public with calm, confident communication under pressure.
