In this role, you lead production services for FX platforms, focusing on stability, governance, and cross-region execution. You’ll drive incidents, problem, and change management while advancing an automation-first approach with AI and observability. You’ll partner with engineering and business teams to remove systemic issues, uplift platform resilience, and deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities

  • Strengthen incident, problem, change, and escalation management to reduce repeat issues and operational risk
  • Drive initiatives to completion with ownership, urgency, and quality
  • Champion automation-first mindset using AI, observability, and tooling to reduce manual effort
  • Identify systemic issues and drive sustainable remediation via process simplification and platform improvements
  • Provide leadership across FX platforms with understanding of front-to-back trade flows and market structure
  • Build trusted relationships with business, engineering, and operations stakeholders through clear communication and governance
  • Lead a high-performing global production services organization with talent development and cross-regional execution
  • Drive improvements in availability, resiliency, SLA performance, and time-to-restore for critical platforms

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus
  • Experience in global production services or application support for mission-critical platforms across multiple regions (follow-the-sun)
  • Proven track record in incident, problem, and change management with measurable stability improvements
  • Automation-first mindset with experience in tooling, observability, and process automation
  • Deep technical/operational experience across production environments (monitoring, observability, resiliency, cloud, middleware, infrastructure)
  • Experience supporting FX or capital markets platforms with understanding of trading flows and execution services
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic service improvements across operating model, governance, risk, and control frameworks
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across business, operations, and engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging platforms (Kafka and MQ); programming/scripting languages such as Java and Python
