Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scientific communications strategies aligned with Medical Science priorities and business goals
  • Guide translation of complex science into clear, impactful narratives and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Lead creation and oversight of scientific content including publications for diverse audiences
  • Plan and execute dissemination and publication strategies to maximise visibility and impact
  • Strengthen external scientific engagement and credibility through partnerships with experts and institutions
  • Maintain quality and governance of communications under regulatory requirements
  • Build and coach teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across functions
  • Manage external partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality communications

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Healthcare Communications or related discipline; MSc/PhD preferred
  • Significant experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Medical Writing or related healthcare environment
  • Proven ability to translate evidence into clear communications for diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of evidence generation, publication practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders in matrix organizations
  • Track record leading scientific communication projects and external partnerships
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
