Senior Project Manager – Retail Construction

Overview

In this Project Manager role you will lead end-to-end delivery for Real Estate construction and refurbishment schemes in the Retail sector. You will be the main client interface, ensuring objectives, timelines, cost targets and quality standards are met. You’ll guide strategic advisory inputs, establish success criteria, and oversee governance, planning, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration to boost project performance and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management commissions
• Act as day-to-day client interface to align objectives with delivery
• Ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets
• Provide strategic input at project conception and determine success criteria
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment considerations
• Establish project governance, processes and systems
• Produce detailed project plans and manage procurement of resources
• Lead cross-functional project teams and stakeholder communications
• Monitor performance using KPIs and manage change control
• Oversee project finances and reporting to clients and consultants
• Interface with client and other consultants across project stages

Key requirements

• Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable)
• Proven experience managing construction/refurbishment projects, ideally in consultancy (essential)
