Senior Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

Overview

As a Senior Project Manager in our Real Estate team, you will lead large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, governance, and risk management while maintaining strong client relationships. This role offers the chance to shape delivery on impactful projects and advance sustainable construction practices within a global consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of large-scale construction projects
• Develop and maintain project plans including schedules and budgets
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet objectives
• Implement project governance, processes, and systems
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Monitor finances and manage change control
• Facilitate team and stakeholder communication through meetings and reports
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients
• Mentor junior project managers to develop their skills

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects
• PMP certification
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry practices
• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to build strong client and team relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in consultancy environment preferred
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED is a plus
