Project Manager (Healthcare) – Construction

Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end project management commissions for healthcare-focused projects within a global real estate division. You will be the primary day-to-day client interface, ensuring projects meet time, cost, and quality targets. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, governance processes, and performance measures to deliver strategic objectives. This position offers the chance to influence healthcare delivery projects and work within a supportive, quality-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management commissions from conception to delivery
• Serve as the main client interface to align objectives and expectations
• Establish success criteria covering time, cost, technical, and performance targets
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment considerations
• Set up project governance, processes and systems for the engagement
• Prepare detailed project plans and monitor progress
• Oversee resource procurement and cross-functional team coordination
• Apply performance management techniques and KPIs to drive outcomes
• Manage change control and project finances
• Regularly communicate project status through meetings and reports
• Interface with client and other consultants at all stages of the project

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline
• Professionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar)
• Proven experience managing Healthcare projects, ideally in a consultancy environment, or transferable from contracting
