Overview

As Consultancy Analytics Manager at Barbour ABI, you will lead and deliver analytical consultancy projects within a growing practice. You’ll manage client relationships, scope and execute research studies, and develop innovative data-driven approaches. The role blends quantitative and qualitative methods to support informed decisions in the built environment. You’ll work with cross-functional teams in a flexible, remote setup with periodic in-person meetups, shaping sustainable growth in a dynamic SME backed by a global group.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver research projects including market sizing, scoping and growth strategy
  • Develop new analytical approaches to improve processes and capabilities
  • Lead research projects from brief to client delivery
  • Manage multiple projects across clients and timelines
  • Ensure high-quality work within agreed timescales

Key requirements

  • Expertise in data analysis including data processing, model building, dashboard creation, and analytics
  • Ability to translate data into actionable client insights
  • End-to-end management of research studies using proprietary datasets and desk research
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Curious, innovative mindset and ability to develop independent analytical solutions
  • Degree-level education in a related field (Bachelor); Masters desirable
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI, and Microsoft Office
  • Built environment/construction sector experience is a plus
