Overview

In this role you will handle a complex health and safety regulatory caseload for an international law firm. You join a dedicated Regulatory team focused on env, health and safety matters across multiple sectors. You will engage with investigations and potential prosecutions by bodies like HSE, FCA, and local authorities, shaping both strategy and defence. The opportunity offers a high-caliber, collaborative environment and exposure to market-leading colleagues in the North.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of health and safety matters
• Advise clients under investigation or prosecution by regulatory bodies (HSE, FCA, Local Authorities, Environment Agency)
• Represent clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings related to health, product, and road safety
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic regulatory guidance
• Contribute to a collegiate, high-performance environment in Leeds (and potentially Manchester)

Key requirements

• 3–6 PQE
• Assured solicitor with training at a top law firm
• Experience in health and safety regulatory matters
