Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across multiple industries
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Review the work of Audit Seniors and trainees
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Liaise with Partners and Managers on audit delivery and technical matters
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling and resource planning
- Support the training and development of junior team members
- Work on statutory accounts and business advisory assignments when required
Key requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or nearing completion)
- Strong external audit experience in UK accountancy practice
- Experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive approach and desire to develop management capabilities
- Experience with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and group structures advantageous
