Overview

As a senior People Business Partner, you will deliver pragmatic HR solutions across the full employee lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. You translate business priorities into people plans that boost performance, engagement and organisational effectiveness in a complex, matrixed environment. You will manage Employee Relations cases under UK law and use data-driven insight to drive outcomes. This hybrid role combines business partnering, change support, and strategic People initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior and operational leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business priorities
  • Manage your own Employee Relations caseload with practical UK employment law guidance
  • Support organisational change, workforce planning, utilization and capacity activities
  • Use people data and KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities and turn insights into actions
  • Navigate complex governance and stakeholder priorities to drive decisions and outcomes
  • Contribute to policy development, process improvements and strategic People initiatives
  • Embrace AI and technology-enabled working to improve efficiency and quality of People solutions
  • Collaborate with the wider People Team and Business Unit Director to ensure consistent HR service

Key requirements

  • Senior HR or People Business Partner experience in a large, complex, matrixed organisation
  • Strong generalist HR background with independent Employee Relations case management and knowledge of UK employment law
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate competing priorities
  • Experience translating business challenges into people plans with measurable impact
  • Strong analytical capability using people data for decision making
  • Confident communicator with digital fluency and openness to AI-enabled tools
  • Experience in international environments; French language capability advantageous
