Overview
In this role you will lead hands-on HR support during periods of significant change and transformation. You’ll partner with managers to steer people processes, advise on HR best practice, and handle sensitive matters in line with UK employment law. You’ll drive workforce planning and support interviews, ensuring smooth transitions during restructures, TUPE transfers, relocations, site openings/closures, and mergers. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on HR support during change programmes
- Lead and coordinate people processes through restructures, redundancies, TUPE transfers, relocations, site openings/closures, and mergers
- Advise managers on HR processes and best practice
- Deliver first-line HR advice and ensure professional handling of sensitive matters
- Support workforce planning consultations and interviews
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation
- Collaborate with managers and employees across periods of change
Key requirements
- Direct experience managing HR activity through major organisational change
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation and compliance
- Experience working in complex, operational or unionised environments (desirable)
- Ability to commute to North London 3 days per week
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Experience with workforce planning and facilitating HR processes
