Finance Business Partner

Overview

In this Finance Business Partner role, you will lead financial operations for the manufacturing function, combining control, reporting, and business partnering to drive performance. You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, deliver robust processes, and develop insights that shape manufacturing decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance KPIs and reporting tools, enabling effective performance management. This is a fast-paced, commercially minded role with a clear impact on the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly manufacturing management accounts process with accuracy and timeliness
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Provide balance sheet oversight for the manufacturing function
• Manage and develop the Manufacturing Finance Team
• Act as a key business partner to manufacturing leadership, offering financial insight
• Develop and enhance KPIs to support operational performance
• Collaborate with data teams to improve reporting and decision-making tools
• Drive continuous improvement in financial controls, processes and procedures

Key requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience producing management accounts within a dynamic business
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and reporting tools
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, fast-changing environment
