NEC Supervisor – Sheffield

Overview

As NEC Supervisor, you will drive现场 supervision in large-scale construction programmes, ensuring contract compliance and quality. You will work closely with project leads and a cross-functional team to identify and mitigate risks, manage defects, and document progress. Your on-site presence and accurate reporting will support timely delivery and adherence to NEC contracts. This role offers the chance to shape project outcomes within a global professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide NEC3 ECC NEC Supervisor services and report to the project leads
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence to scrutinise works and verify materials and standards
• Forecast issues early and implement preventive measures
• Manage and close out defects, witness testing
• Attend progress meetings and issue contract-compliant communications
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and inform them of observed issues
• Keep contemporary records of all site observations

Key requirements

• NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager accreditation
• Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification
• Relevant construction experience and understanding of construction methods
• Commitment to service excellence and quality
• Ability to work in a large project team and use digital systems to access information and record defects
• Knowledge of NEC4 ECC is beneficial but not essential
