Field Service Engineer

We’re supporting a leading defence engineering business in their search for a Field Service Engineer to join their Service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and hands‑on work with advanced electro‑mechanical systems. You’ll be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and supporting specialist equipment both across the UK and internationally.

Core Duties:

• Installing, commissioning, and servicing specialist equipment




• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic, and electro‑mechanical faults




• Producing technical reports and service documentation




• Delivering exceptional customer support on‑site




• Supporting equipment trials, testing, and training activities




• Working closely with engineering and project teams to deliver customer solutions

About You:

• HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline




• Experience in a Field Service, Maintenance, or Technical Support role




• Strong fault‑finding skills across electrical, electronic, or electro‑mechanical systems




• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation




• Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills




• Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport




• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and overseas
