Foreman / Site Supervisor – Groundworks

Location: Peterborough

Rate: £240-£270 per day (DOE) – Negotiable

Start: 12/10 – Earlier Start Considered

Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor to join a larger, well-established groundworks contractor on a groundworks package in the Peterborough area.

The contractor has a 12-18 month pipeline of secured work, with further projects available for the right candidate and genuine opportunities to progress within the business.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day groundworks activities.
• Coordinate site teams, labour and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required standard.
• Coordinate labour, plant and materials.
• Monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.
• Liaise with Site Management, engineers and the wider project team.
• Assist with resolving site issues and maintaining productivity.

Requirements

• Previous Foreman or Site Supervisor experience within groundworks.
• Strong groundworks background.
• SSSTS or SMSTS – Essential.
• CSCS card- Essential.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Additional relevant tickets are desirable.
