WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start date of employment: 7th November 2026
  • The starting salary for this role is £17,000, based on skills and experience.
  • Part Time: 24 hours per week including evenings and weekends.

OR

£28,500

  • Full Time: 39 hours per week including evenings and alternative weekends.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Have held a full driving license for 2+ years.
  • Confident in building relationships with customers and recommending products that meet their needs.
  • You are a self-motivated and organised individual who enjoys working independently and takes ownership of managing your own appointment schedule and workload.
  • Confident in taking accurate measurements and experienced in using a range of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and planning tools.
  • Passionate about home furnishings, with an interest in understanding customer buying behaviours to provide tailored solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Meeting customers in their homes to gain a deeper understanding of their needs, offering inspiration and guidance to create personalised solutions for their space and lifestyle.
  • Responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience from booking the initial appointment and planning solutions through to payment, while also following up with customers after their home visit.
  • Working alongside the Bedrooms Shopkeeper, you will stay informed about IKEA services and product updates to help customers find the right solutions.
  • When not planning in customers’ homes, there will be an expectation for you to support the Bedrooms department when needed.
  • Working closely with sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), helping drive success for both customers and the business.
