Banking Job – Mandarin speaking Relationship Manager – Trade Finance – wm

Overview

In this role you support the Corporate Banking team to achieve objectives by serving as a Mandarin-speaking point of contact for Chinese and multinational clients. You will help structure trade-finance products, assess credit proposals, and guide the approval process through to execution. You work closely with leadership and colleagues across time zones to deliver high-quality solutions. The opportunity centers on cross-border client services and shaping credit and banking arrangements for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to the Corporate Banking Department to achieve departmental objectives
• Coordinate with the Head of Corporate Banking and colleagues to facilitate cross-border communication with Chinese and multinational companies
• Advise clients, negotiate and tailor products and services to client needs
• Prepare and present credit proposals/credit analysis reports
• Assist clients as a direct point of contact for a wide range of requests
• Initiate credit proposals, manage the full credit-approval process (including Head Office where needed) and implement post-lending management for the credit portfolio

Key requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin
• Experience in Trade Finance sector
• Experience in corporate banking RM role with a major international bank
• Bachelor degree or above in Finance or Accounting
• Understanding of corporate financing activities and banking products/services
• Ability to cooperate with team members across different time zones
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
