Mandarin speaking Job – Private banking Relationship Manager – Mortgage – wm

Overview

In this role you will support private banking clients and RMs to manage mortgage applications from enquiry to completion. You will work within a UK mortgage-focused team to enhance procedures, liaise with solicitors, valuers and brokers, and drive efficient lending solutions. You’ll contribute to product and process improvements and help generate client opportunities. This is an office-based, permanent position in central London with a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications from enquiry to completion across the lifecycle
• Provide mortgage-related support to clients and relationship managers
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties to facilitate applications
• Assist development and enhancement of mortgage products, policies, procedures and systems
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experience
• Collaborate with front offices to generate business leads and create synergy
• Support client events and marketing activities as appropriate
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• UK mortgage industry or Private Banking experience
• Knowledge of UK Buy-to-Let and residential mortgage products
• Hands-on mortgage case management experience (desirable)
• CeMAP preferred
• Professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA or FRM) advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
