Overview
In this role, you join the Advisory Services team to help deliver major infrastructure and energy programmes. You will support governance, assurance, and delivery across project lifecycles, working with cross-functional client teams. You will help develop controls, reporting, and information management to improve project performance. The position offers structured development, mentoring, and exposure to diverse advisory disciplines, with a focus on shaping large-scale investment programmes.

Responsibilities
- Support delivery of projects from early development through handover
- Review and implement project delivery processes and ways of working
- Coordinate governance, assurance activities and evidence tracking
- Manage project information via common data environments and project systems
- Assist with scope, risks, dependencies and change management
- Contribute to NEC contract processes (early warnings, compensation events, change management)
- Support planning, cost, risk, commercial and performance management through data and reporting
- Develop reports, dashboards and governance packs for stakeholders
- Facilitate collaboration across technical teams, contractors and clients
- Support organisational change initiatives and capability-building programs
- Contribute to project reviews, assurance activities and governance assessments
- Work with colleagues across Advisory Services to deliver large-scale investment programmes
- Explore different service areas and build experience through development and mentoring
Key requirements
- Experience in project or programme delivery in infrastructure, engineering, utilities, consultancy or regulated sectors
- Engineering background with degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Growing understanding of project lifecycle from development to handover
- Ability to manage information and coordinate across multiple workstreams
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Strong MS Office skills (reporting, tracking, documentation)
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify improvements and provide practical solutions
- Collaborative work style in multidisciplinary teams
- Desirable experience in design assurance, governance, CDEs, project controls or digital delivery tools
- Pursuing or interested in professional qualification such as APM or NEC
